Judge Joshua Riba has lived in Pinellas County almost his entire life and has served its citizens as a Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and an Assistant State Attorney.  Since August 1, 2016, Judge Riba has been the County Judge in Group 11 where he presides over the South County Traffic Division.  Since Judge Riba became a member of The Florida Bar, he has spent part of nearly every working day in a courtroom.

In addition to serving the citizens of Pinellas County, Judge Riba trained law enforcement on a variety of topics, enjoys presiding over various swearing in ceremonies and attending other civic functions. Judge Riba participates in local pro-bono legal clinics, is a group leader for the Barney Masterson Inn of Court, and is a member of the Florida Motorcycle Safety Coalition. Judge Riba was recently invited to join the faculty of an organization that provides training to members of the judiciary.

Judge Riba and his wife Mari have a blended family of two boys, two girls, and a grandson. Their 11-year old rescue dog rounds out their family.

Judge Joshua Riba serves the citizens of Pinellas County with dignity while ensuring the integrity of our justice system and that the rights of those who appear before him are respected. He has a proven record of service to our community as well as the experience, temperament, and work ethic to continue to serve as the County Judge in Group 11.
